As an international superstar, going to a photo shoot is just another day at the office for Beyoncé and does she ever know how to work it! While she may not be a runway model, she does know her angles and how to strike a fierce pose when she needs to, which makes me wonder if the girl even knows how to look bad.

During her quick rise to fame, Rihanna has graced more than a few magazine covers and has really come into her own sense of style. Sexy, sophisticated, but still fun, she has gone from easy island flair to chic couture style maven. Photographing well can be more than a little tricky, but judging from this shot Rihanna knows how to put her best foot forward.

All that glitters on Beyoncé is most definitely gold, especially when she’s performing. Known to wear outfits mainly designed by her mother, Tina, when out on stage, Beyoncé tends to go for bright colours and flash, big ideas to go with her big personality and performances.

A little more rock and roll than her self-professed idol, Rihanna prefers to show off her skills in a lot of black showing a lot of leg. Having only begun to find her performance personality, Rihanna still has plenty of time to evolve even further, although looking back on her ‘Pon de Replay’ days I’d say she’s already come a long way.

Round 4: It's a Pose-off, People

The red carpet at events, such as the Grammy’s, can be incredibly nerve wracking, but for pros like Beyoncé it’s all about having that fail-safe pose down pat to show off the dress, the curves and the smile. Keeping with her penchant for shiny and bold, Beyoncé chose a stunning, curve-hugging gown and kept it classy with a simple hands-on-hips stance.

Debuting a new haircut and attitude to spare, Rihanna turned heads in this eye-popping blue-purple number at the Grammy’s. Minimal accessories allowed the dress and its detailing to do all the talking and a single hand on a popped hip (a favourite for the young Hollywood set) gave her the confident look cameras love.

For years Beyoncé has been keeping mum about a much talked-about match made in R&B heaven with rap superstar Jay-Z…nice try hunny, but we have eyes. However, after about six years of privately dating, it seems as though the two have now secretly wed and I’m sure that won’t be formally announced either.
Whether it’s true or not, I’m saying a big CONGRATS to the happy couple. Showbiz has a way of tearing couples apart, so making it work and keeping their private lives private is a huge accomplishment, although it hasn’t always been smooth sailing.

Cue the young, hot superstar-in-the-making from Barbados whom Jay took under his wing and made a star. Of course, an affair between Jay and his young protégé is all speculation and most likely fabricated by the media…but it sure is spicy to think about.
Of all the comparisons done so far of our two ladies, this one seems to be the most open and shut: Beyonce’s got the man…but did Rihanna ever have a taste? I’m guessing we’ll never know. Gotta love gossip! For now I guess we’ll just have to be happy for Rihanna and her working relationship with Jay.
